Moving to HTTPS
30/09/18 08:55
As many know, 'http' websites are now frowned upon by Google Chrome. Although no sensitive/financial/personal traceable data is used on this website (aside from the ubiquitous Google Analytics), I've decided to move the website to 'https'. The s stands for secure. This will happen as and when client work allows in the next few weeks - so watch this space!
Once this upgrade has been completed it should stop Chrome users from getting the slightly worrying "Not Secure" warning when finding Shooting Image's website, a change that Google implemented back in the summer. It is also one (of the many) factors in Google's website SEO/ranking too.
UPDATE: This switch to HTTPS was done successfully in early October 2018.
